In 1983 while at a cookout with friends I got the recipe for my salsa - someone wrote it down on a napkin. I tried making it several times before I got it right. I made it then as I do now with all natural ingredients but back then I made it fresh. All my friends and family loved it so much that when I would take the salsa to tailgate parties it would be gone before I could even get any.
A few years later a friend suggested I try cooking it to extend the life of it. In 2004 I tried but was never successful until I found a method of cooking called "Flash Cooking" in 2006. Since then I have refined the recipe and cooking method and the results speak for themselves! I've been able to retain the flavor and texture of fresh salsa while giving it a shelf life of two years.
Our product is still made with all natural ingredients and no preservatives and is completely gluten free.
